Slim in 6 calendar

I had a request to create a printable Slim in 6 calendar. My wife has the Slim in 6 DVDs so this seemed like a pretty good idea. I used the color schemes from the disk and to some extent I copied the calendar that came with the DVDs. Hope you like it.

And here is a Google docs version of the calendar. The only difference is the Google docs version doesn’t have the little checkboxes next to the supplemental daily workouts. Slim in 6 Calendar on Google docs.

Great work. But, it’s different from the schedule WOWY shows in the auto-schedule. Are there different plans for Slim in 6?

Hi Howie,
You know, I never looked at the WOWY schedule before I made the calendar, I used the calendar that came with the DVDs as a reference. After reading your comment I did go and look at the WOWY schedule and it only has you doing Start it Up for one day. Doesn’t make sense to me for them to go to the trouble of making a disk and sending it to you and charging you for it only to have you do it for one day. Also, the program literature says you should move from one level to the next on your own, when you feel ready, and even the two weeks are just a guideline. The calendar obviously isn’t perfect, but it is what it is and I think that’s the way I’m going to leave it. You’re free to edit the calendar as you see fit, however. All you have to do is unprotect the sheet and you can edit it any way you like, no passwords or anything.

Please don’t take it as saying the calendar was wrong. I haven’t done that workout, so was asking if there were different plans to follow similar to P90X having classic, lean, doubles. Thanks for the reply.

Thank you so much for this! I was given the dvds & some of the add-ons by a friend who wasn’t using them but ONLY the discs — not even the covers and definitely not any of the materials. I’m tweaking it a bit as I need to give myself a rest day or I’ll collapse but it’s sooooo much nicer having this as a launching pad rather than having to figure it all out myself :)

Ooh, that’s a tough one, how not to lose the motivation. It’s ironic you ask that because I just saw an article on WebMD yesterday about staying motivated while exercising. I’ll try to find that article and link it for you, but in the meantime here are a few things that came to my mind when I read your question.

1. Don’t expect overnight success.
2. Commit to the program.
3. Make it part of your everyday routine.
4. Be accountable to someone.
5. Pretend to enjoy it if you don’t at first.
6. Nutrition and exercise go hand in hand.

Here’s that link: http://men.webmd.com/fit-and-healthy-10/stick-to-your-fitness-plan?page=1?ecd=wnl_men_053111 Good luck!

This looks great but I have a quick question as I was given the Discs with no literature. Do we do the Start it up video, plus the two below it each day? And the same for Ramp it up and Burn it up? I am trying to carve the workout into my daily schedule and just needed a time reference. Thanks!

Those two other routines with the check boxes (Slim & Six-Pack and Slim & Limber) are optional and I think you only do one each day. I think you would alternate them each day. They (Beachbody) do say not to work your abs every day, they (your abs) need a rest like any other muscle group. I hope that answers your question.

I saw the Slim in 6 program back in 2009, when my daughter was a baby and I had some baby weight on, and really wanted to try it. I downloaded it but it wasn’t a good copy and I never did try it :( Since then, I’ve gained some weight and am just at the point now where I’m ready for it to go!!!!! I just started this past Monday and have been concentrating on eating better this week. I just downloaded a new copy of Slim in 6 tonight and it is a really good copy :) I have like 60 lbs I would like to lose, with my goal at 80 lbs. I was wondering how to do the program and then I found this schedule :) Thanks so much. I am starting on Monday and I will check back in six weeks time with my progress :D
